Program crashing

Postby Scot » Wed Jun 16, 2010 7:48 am

Good morning,

I'm running a unregistered copy of courseplanner to evaluate whether to make a purchase or not. I must admit without any documentation it is difficult to know if I'm using the program correctly. The communication between it and FSX is intermittant at best, however the interface is nice. Whenever I engage courseplanner to fly the autopilot flight plan it crashes. I don't know whether this is user error or not but I was hoping there was explanation for this because I really want to give the program a chance. As I said the interface is well done and the planning is very user friendly but I'm losing functionality somewhere. I'm running Windows 7 with FSX.

Many thanks for your help,

Scot

Hello,

Sorry I took so long getting back to you, I was looking at the various reports that were sent.

there is always the wiki, but, as with any wiki, it is a work in progress.

What do you mean by 'intermittent'?
Do you mean that it disconnects every 10 or so minutes? In that case it is because you have an unregistered version.
After a while courseplanner 'disconnects'.

Hum, this is not right indeed, can you send me one of the flight plan that is causing the crash?
I see in the reports you sent me, (if they were from you, as I cannot tell who they are from), you opened a flight plan and then Courseplanner crashes. Maybe there is something special in the plan you are using?

Many thanks
